Winger Morten Gamst Pedersen has confirmed that he considered leaving Ewood Park before he put pen to paper on a new four-year contract with Blackburn Rovers.
The 28-year-old has been with Rovers for six years, but admits that he was tempted to try his luck elsewhere before committing his long-term future to Rovers earlier this summer.
He told Sky Sports News:"I got offers from other clubs, it is not like I try to hide away, but Blackburn have always been my number one.
"At one stage I almost lost my focus – a little bit of what I wanted to do – so I just put that to the side and tried to play my football and it worked well for me.
